Master of Art Teaching
During my MAT studies, I have become a confident teacher and learner. I have observed and taught Kindergarten through 12th grade students. The experiences and rigorous courses in this program has enriched my teaching by widening my scope of understanding in technology, literacy, engagement, and more. My graduate courses have supplied me with the necessary tools needed to enrich all of my students' thinking and learning.
Bachelor of Fine Arts
At the School of Art and Visual Technology, my concentration was in drawing. During my BFA program, I honed my drawing, painting, and sculptural skills, while also diving deep into research and study on art aesthetics, art history, and critical theory. By the end of my BFA program, I graduated on the Dean's list, and was selected top student by my drawing professor during the graduation ceremony.
Associate of General Studies
This degree provided me with a strong base for my future as an educator through a variety of history, religion, science, math, writing, reading, and technology courses. My elective courses in this program were focused heavily on drawing and design, as well as multiple semesters of American Sign Language.
